Abraham, the Father of the nations

Today when I woke up in the morning, A thought emerged at once that I should write something about the Father of nations, the father of faith, "Abraham". He is the person, on which everyone agrees. His truthfulness, his piety, his faithfulness and his faith on God that he didn't say no to God to even sacrifice his own son.

Abraham, known as Ibrahim (Arabicإِبْرَاهِيْمُ‎, romanized: ʾIbrāhīm pronounced in Arabic, is recognized as a prophet and messenger of God in Islam. Abraham plays a prominent role as an example of faith in JudaismChristianity, and Islam. In Muslim belief, Abraham fulfilled all the commandments and trials wherein God nurtured him throughout his lifetime. As a result of his unwavering faith in God, Ibrahim was promised by God to be a leader to all the nations of the world.

The Quran extols Ibrahim as a model, an exemplar, obedient and not an idolater.In this sense, Abraham has been described as representing "primordial man in universal surrender to the Divine Reality before its fragmentation into religions separated from each other by differences in form".The Islamic holy day 'Eid al-Adha is celebrated in memory of the sacrifice of Abraham, and each able bodied Muslim is supposed to perform the pilgrimage to pay homage at the Kaaba in the Hejazi city of Mecca, which was built by Abraham and his son Ishmael as the first house of worship on earth.

 Promises to Abraham:

God also gave promises to Abraham “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you;I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:2-3).

He promised that Abraham would become the father of a great nation. But at that time, Abraham was already 75 years old and still had no children. He had to wait another 25 years till the promised baby came, when he was 100 years old and his wife Sarah 90. The book of Hebrews explains that Sarah could have a baby because of her faith in a faithful God: “And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise” (Hebrews 11:11). This example shows that God sometimes decides to wait to keep his promise, but He never forgets about it.

Promises to the people of Israel

God promised the people of Israel that He would bring them into the Promised Land. The promise was first made to Abraham "On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphratesthe land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.”(Genesis 15:18-21) and later repeated to Isaac and Jacob (Genesis 28:13). God was true to his promise, because years later He delivered the offspring of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob from the Egyptians and led them into the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 1:8).

There are many verses in the Psalms and other Bible books that testify to God’s faithfulness (Psalm 98:3108:4145:13 and many others). For example, Psalm 108:4“For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.”

Promises for today

God has promises for the people of today as well. He promises that every person who believes in Jesus, will be saved from hell: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). This is a wonderful promise and we can trust God fully that He will keep this promise! This well-known verse in John also shows us how we should respond to God’s promise: we need to believe, to put our trust in God’s promises.

Warning against unbelief

In the book of Hebrews, a warning is issued against unbelief (Hebrews 3:7,8). A whole generation of Israelites could not enter the Promised Land because they did not trust God to give it to them. They had to wander in the desert till they died and the Land was given to their children (Hebrews 3:16-19). God promises eternal rest in Jesus Christ; let us respond in faith and put our trust in him (Hebrews 3:14)!

Mairi Eid Mairi Marzi

In January 2020, news reports began to circulate of a new respiratory virus spreading in Wuhan, China.  What initially appeared to be a problem limited predominantly to China, soon became a global issue.

The World Health Organisation declared a global health emergency on 30th January, and on 11th March, a pandemic. The situation has continued to dramatically escalate: at the time of writing, there have been 43966 confirmed cases of Covid-19, 939 deaths, 217 people are critical and 12489 people are recovered in Pakistan. It is estimated that 20% of the population is now living with restricted movement. 80% of people are outside in the markets and streets.

How does the response to the coronavirus pandemic differ from our response to other global health challenges, i.e. climate change?

·   1. Technology’s role for facilitating communication during lockdowns and for distributing public health information: i.e. government distributed text messages, or Instagram’s ‘stay home’ feature.

·  2. Education considerations: the impact of closed schools, cancelled exams, online teaching and assessments; establishing new best practices;

·  3. Cultural considerations: the impact of the cancellation of many national cultural events, the likely postponement of the Olympics and the ramifications for all affiliated sporting bodies; the impact of closed museums, cinemas and public events of many kinds on our cultural lives and identities; the impact of cancelled conferences on ongoing academic discourse and knowledge exchange.

Above all these effects Eid is about to come and the people who were asking for Rs.12000/ from Ehsas programme as imdad, they are the first fine to go for shopping. Now no one is poor, no one needs ration, no one needs imdad. People were shouting that they don't have rozgar (work), they are dying for hunger. Now at once no one is hungry. Everyone's pockets are full of money now.

Yesterday when I was passing by the market to buy some grocery for the home, It was amazingly crowded even that I could not go forward on my bike. Small kids, young ladies, youth and even old people are exited(dying) to do shopping for Eid. Some of them had parked their car far from the market because there was no parking near it and going to the shops in a hot sunny day.
People are gone mad for purchasing things as they are going to be finished. People used to do short timings in the offices that they are having fast but for shopping there is no fast and unlimited timings for shopping. For work we need short timings but for shopping we don't. I just want to say that don't play with your health and your kids and grand parents health.

We know its " Mairi Eid Mairi Marzi" but you can save other to be effected because your health is connected to the health of the people around you. If you don't want to think about yourself then think about others. Enjoy Eid at your home and be save.

The Immortals

Hi friends,

Today I am going to write about a very sensitive topic "The Immortals". How many of us believe in immortality? I think everyone of us believe in life after death in different believe and concepts. Firstly i am going to share the rigid idea or believes of different religions.

According to Wikipedia Islamic tradition discusses elaborately, almost in graphic detail, as what happens before, during, and after the death, although what exactly happens is not clear and different schools of thought may end up with different conclusions. However, a continuity between all these ideas derived from the basic sources from the Quran and Islamic narratives. One canonical idea is, that the angel of death (Arabic: Malak al-Maut) appears to the dying to take out their souls. The sinners' souls are extracted in the most painful way while the righteous are treated easily

Another common idea, although appearing relatively late in Islamic traditions, adds that, after the burial, two angels – Munkar and Nakir – come to question the dead in order to test their faith. The righteous believers answer correctly and live in peace and comfort while the sinners and disbelievers fail and punishments ensue. The time period or stage between death and the end of the world is called the life of barzakh. Suicideeuthanasia, and unjust murder as means of death are all prohibited in Islam, and are considered major sins. Muslims believe life is God's gift, it is not given by man.

Believing in an afterlife is one of the six articles of faith in Islam.

According to Encyclopedia Britannica,The immortality of the soul

Human beings seem always to have had some notion of a shadowy double that survives the death of the body. But the idea of the soul as a mental entity, with intellectual and moral qualities, interacting with a physical organism but capable of continuing after its dissolution, derives in Western thought from Plato and entered into Judaism during approximately the last century before the Common Era and thence into Christianity. In Jewish and Christian thinking it has existed in tension with the idea of the resurrection of the person conceived as an indissoluble psycho physical unity. Christian thought gradually settled into a pattern that required both of these apparently divergent ideas. At death the soul is separated from the body and exists in a conscious or unconscious disembodied state. But on the future Day of Judgment souls will be re-embodied (whether in their former but now transfigured earthly bodies or in new resurrection bodies) and will live eternally in the heavenly kingdom.

According to Wikipedia Hindus philosophy of life after death is as follows:

Hindus accept reincarnation – the belief that, after death, the atman (soul) of a person passes into a new body and life. This new life depends on how the person lived their previous lifeHindus believe in karma, which is the sum of the good and bad actions taken.

Dear friends Immortality has been one of mankind’s major concerns, and even though it has been traditionally mainly confined to religious traditions, it is also important to philosophy. Although a wide variety of cultures have believed in some sort of immortality, such beliefs may be reduced to basically three non-exclusive models:

1. The survival of the astral body resembling the physical body;
2. The immortality of the immaterial soul (that is an incorporeal existence);
3. Resurrection of the body (or re-embodiment, in case the resurrected person does not keep the same body as at the moment of death).

My fellows my purpose to present you these believes is to tell you that somehow the others everyone believe in Immortality or life after death but who no one cares for it. People are not afraid that they will be answerable to someone(Allah) for their deeds. Killings of people is just a minute task and they are doing it, taking the bread out of poors mouth is a common thing, destroying the others rights is normal, torturing the poors or downtrodden is a power simbal, rapping young girls is a not scaring, rapping and killing of small babies (girls or boys) doesn't remind us the fear of God, we dare-fully do the storage of goods, we proudly beat our servants, we happily announce that my child abuse so much, we keep the good things with us and donate the useless, we tell other to donate and do good deeds but we don't
Quote "We could see the twinkle in the eye of others but we do not see the beam of our eyes". We are running after immortality but are our deeds take us to eternal life? This is a question for all of us to rethink and follow the foot steps of Mother Theresa, Abdul Sattar Edhi, Ruth Katherina Martha Pfau............ They did not kept in mind to live an eternal life but they are alive in our hearts. May God help us to work for and live for others.

Charity begins at home

Hello Friends,

Today I am going to talk about unseen truth of our political leader regarding the prevention of COVID19.

Dear friends, we all know that so many people are contributing in support to prevent from COVID19. Few days back I was watching a mega transmission on a famous television network for collecting funds in Prime Minister relief fund. I saw many journalists, famous actors, famous players and politicians during that live transmission including our prime minister, Mr. Imran Khan at the end.

Dear Friends everyone said good and encourage people to pool in money in that fund but did you noticed that no one pooled in money by themselves. Even the prime minister did not pool in. He opened an empty account for others to pool in. He has focused this transmission as a compaigne to his politics. Charity begins from home but unfortunately we ask other to do charity but we don't do charity, we ask other to help the poor but we don't, we ask others to wipe the tears of other but in fact we put tears in their eyes, we ask others to initiate for fund raising but we don't give money to others. We always want to tell others to do but we don't follow that path. Even our religious leaders tells us to follow the right path to God but they misused their so called piety.

I wanted to bring that hidden truth in front of you that ask this questions to your leaders that what have they contributed to give relief to the poor ones and the effected one, except making pictures while giving ration to few people for their compaigne. Believe me you will find hardly the one from many who has done charity without showing to others.

I request my leaders not to fight for the vote but give respect to your voters and go to your areas from where you got votes, they are your people.

I request my people also to open their eyes and don't give vote to the wrong people just because of your braderies or your personal interest.They have sweet tongues but their hearts are bitter and hard. They want you to sacrifice your life for them but they don't want to sacrifice their lives for you.
Don't be the victim, Use your own hands to help others, don't look at others hands raise your hands for the people around you
